A family wedding brought us to Minneapolis where we learned about the milling history of the city, enjoyed a German festival, and had much family fun. We'll start there - photographers get no respect :-)

The finale of our trip was a lovely wedding reception in the old city hall. 

Best to visit in the summer, but if you do get to
Minneapolis in the winter, rest assured that the
skywalks will get you anywhere you need to go. 

New York City - September 2011

In the city for a few days before heading out to Long Island for a family wedding, I found that my favorite photos were of people. 

We visited Ground Zero days before the memorial opened, walked the Hi-Line, appreciated some fine food, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
