We walked around the city and ended up at my niece's school, at the end of her school day, where I snapped a few pictures of her teaching (she made me read the kids a story).
A couple nights later, our last night in NYC, my niece and her husband met us for dinner at this crazy restaurant of their choice :-) So fun.
The rest of the photos are random shots taken while wandering around the city for a few days.

Right...
A delicious small meal here.
Sadly, no time for the Guggenheim this trip.
Pigeons on Sherman
This was taken at Mustang Sally with our bartender, Liam. He's from Cork, Ireland and has been in the U.S. for 27 years, and at Mustang Sally for 17 years. Best Irish whiskey? Red Breast. Best sellers? Bushnell & Jamieson. And the best cocktail in this country according to Liam is the Maker's Mark Manhattan:
3 1/2 oz bourbon
3/4 oz sweet vermouth
1/2 oz dry vermouth
splash of bitters
(May substitute campari for sweet vermouth & omit dry vermouth.)
Our last night, and as usual, we ended our evening at the hotel lounge.
Cheers to you, NYC - until next time.
