The remains of an old brick factory lie in the park and a sign asks that you not take the bricks.
With no security, fences, or cameras I have to believe some of these bricks walk away. But we were happy that we were free to walk around and explore the ruins.
Up to 40,000 bricks a day were produced here from 1914-1947.
The remains of the kiln.
Nature will continue to take it all back.
But the legacy of the brick factory will live on in its buildings. Here are two of them: the Grand Ledge Post Office and the Library.
