We didn't spend a lot of time in the cemetery but did find Author's Ridge.
Louisa M. Alcott (November 29, 1832 - March 6, 1888).
Nathaniel Hawthorne (July 4, 1804 - May 19, 1864).
Ralph Waldo Emerson (May 25, 1803 - April 27, 1882) and some of his family.
Henry David Thoreau (July 12, 1817 - May 6, 1862).
Nearby is the site of Thoreau's cabin and the famous Walden Pond.
A replica cabin and statue.
It's a beautiful area, now enjoyed and visited by a lot of people. Thoreau would probably not have liked that 😊
