We viewed the wall from three different cities on the border in 2025 with varying degrees of luck. In El Paso, Texas, we couldn't get very near it. The closest we got was when we were trying to get to the Historic Boundary Marker (unsuccessfully).
Viewing Mexico from the highway.
The pass over to Mexico.
You can see the almost 200 foot tall sculpture "The X", La Equis from the highway. It sits along the Rio Grande in Juarez.
Here are a few more photos and then we gave up on El Paso.
In Nogales, Arizona, we found a place where we could walk right up to the wall.
Our third place was Naco, Arizona, which was the least populated place of the three cities. There was a double wall with a road in between. We could walk up to it and did. Then a border patrol car pulled up and we thought we were in trouble. But he just asked us if we were ok and proceeded to drive down the walled road. But wherever you view it, the wall is not beautiful, no matter what anyone says.
