Thirty minutes away from Casa Grande Ruins National Monument, you can find the place where silent film star, Tom Mix, died in 1940 when he lost control of his car. The "King of Cowboys" made hundreds of movies but only a handful that were not silent. RIP Tom Mix (January 6, 1880 - October 12, 1940).
