Granary Burying Ground, Tremont Street, Boston MA

Established in 1660, the cemetery has around 5000 bodies and 2300 markers. It was named for the grain storage building that once stood next door, and it holds three signers of the Declaration of Independence.
John Hancock has the largest monument of the three.
Sam Adams is near the entrance.
Robert Treat Paine is on a wall.
James Otis, political activist and legislator.
Ben Franklin's parents are buried here.
The remains of the victims of the Boston Massacre are next to Sam Adams.
This very elaborate tombstone may say Jackson but I couldn't find match on FindAGrave.
Ward and Mary Marston, both of whom died in 1882.
Ben James has a skeleton on his plaque and died in 1790.
Thomas Kilbey, 1690-1732.
William Hall was a leather dresser by trade.
Here are some general photos of the cemetery. Tour groups clog up the famous sites so you have to be patient and wait for them to move on.
At the back of the cemetery you can find Paul Revere's grave, the old slate stone and a newer gravestone.
The cemetery gets over a million visitors a year and you can see why.
